K-Pop is not really my thing but seeing the all-girl K-Pop group wearing hanbok had giving me the sudden urge to revisit my long dress design. I've given a small touch of hanbok pattern to my previous design that is in the lower part (skirt) so it makes it looks as sweet as the fair looking korean girls.
The original hanbok usually has long sleeves which probably suitable for the cool korean weather, so I've improvised it to be a half-cut retro style to bring flexibility and comfort for the young ones.
Hanbok is worn with outer jacket which makes it uncomfortable and involves lots of hassles to wear and to make (of course). So I make a frontal opening with buttons. I would say, it's a fusion.
At the back, a ribbon-knot simple strap decorated the look and functioned to reveal the body shape.
